This lesson introduces learners to monopsonies, we start with a recap on monopoly before looking at features of monopsonies. We look at some real life examples and discuss the pros and cons of monopsonies. Learners are introduced to revenue and costs first, as this is the foundation for the rest of the unit. We then look at budgets, cash flow forecasts, break even and finally profitability.
