Hi everyone This is one of my favorite and most successful GCSE projects which I use to introduce Year 10 students to the course. This powerpoint has 156 slides and is based on the topic food, “Edible Incredible” Students will be given the opportunity to explore different drawing techniques, printing, painting, mixed media and photography and will explore a range of artists and if needed they can use some secondary reference material. This full project can be used for GCSE or A-Level students and is is a scheme of work which will last 1-2 terms. A key aspect students struggle with is how to annotate their sketchbook pages, whether it is an artist image or their own work. This is a really fun set of examples used with year 10 GCSE students on the theme of FOOD. This Powerpoint introduces them to Expressive and realism artists. Each lesson is broken down and the artist images are given. Artists used are Robert Joyner and Sarah Graham This set of work will last 2- 3 weeks and students can also produce an artist analysis page after the workshops.
