Hi everyone
This is one of my favorite and most successful GCSE projects. This powerpoint has 122 slides and is based on the topic “In the Kitchen”
Students will be given the opportunity to explore drawing and photography around their home and will explore a range of artists and if needed use some secondary reference material.
This full project can be used for GCSE or A-Level students and is is a scheme of work which will last 1-2 terms. It has examples of students work and lots of artist suggestions and images for you to use and share with students.

Here are my top 19 “Objects/Still life Artists” which have inspired students across all age groups when developing and creating their own work based on their still life/personal possessions projects. This powerpoint includes the names of the artists, images of their work as a reference and examples of sketchbook pages created by students.
The artists are all very different: Realism, illustration, surrealism, photography, expressionism and sculpture. There are also slides at the end explaining what a confidence artist sketchbook page looks like and resources for you to share with students to help them write about their artists.

The artists are all very different: Its been in order to show the development of styles and techniques, from Black and white to colour, also showing different styles: Illustration, surrealism, photography, expressionism, mixed media, collage and realism painting styles.
