This bundle contains 6 lessons covering the third part of the first key topic on for the A Level Unit Democracy and Dictatorship in Germany. These lessons focus on the fall of the Weimar Republic and the rise to power of Hitler and the Nazis. They each take an hour to teach (lesson 21 takes 2 hours), and although a text book is desirable it is not essential. Activities are included within the power point.

It involves research into how the social conditions in the cities during the industrial revolution aided criminals and made solving crime very difficult for the police. Students are required to consider a variety of sources to reach a judgment in an extended writing task. All sources and the writing frame are included within the power point for copying. This could also be used as a GCSE resource to support the teaching of the historic environment on the crime and punishment unit. No text book is needed.
