Taco Tuesday - pretérito game
Game to practise the preterit tense. Students play with another student, each of them have a different colour marker or highlighter.
The teacher says a verb in English and the students try to find it and colour the taco.
At the end they count how many points they got.

Speaking - different slides with food to practise speaking with the whole class or in groups.

Year 9.
A B translation - verbos
Two tables A and B. Each partner gets a different letter. Partner A starts saying ´comí´ (which is on the ´habla´ column), partner B finds the translation and highlights it (I ate) then says the word next to the answer (habla column) which is ´cantaron´. Then partner A finds the translation until partner B finishes the game.
Pascua (primary)
Place the eggs with the vocabulary around the classroom. Page 1 - empty eggs, vocabulary written with magic pen and the student need the light to read the words. Page 2 - vocabulary in Spanish.
Students have 4 stations to complete:
Activity 1) go around the classroom and write the vocabulary in Spanish.
Activity 2) complete the gaps with the words from activity 1.
Activity 3) find the words from activity 1 in the wordsearch.
Activity 4) colour in by numbers.
Cut the eggs around and folded in half (horizontally) and stick one half of one egg on half of a different egg, at the end all the eggs are stuck together forming a 3D egg.
Recetas - paella y gambas al ajillo
Students write the recipe of two Spanish dishes.
Flip book - fold and match the top and the bottom part of the picture.

Reading: poster with information.
Cards: match up the problems with the definitions and complete the table.
News articles to discuss in groups.

Speaking - holidays (boarding pass/tarjeta de embarque).
Student thinks of possible questions for each section of the boarding pass. Their partner asks questions and they will answer using the information on their boarding pass. Then,they will ask questions to their partner.

slide 20 : tira el dado. Groups of 3/4 students, 1 mini whiteboard each member, and 1 board marker and 1 dice per group. The group rolls the dice and they get one number that they will try to get all the time. For example, 1. One student starts translating while the rest of the members roll the dice taking terms until one of them get number 1 and says ´para´, the studend that is translating passes the pen. The winner is the student that manages to get all the translation on the whiteboard.
