Also checks learning for self-assessment and independence. Perfect for both Entry Level 3 and Level 1 students, including SEN students. There is also an 12 slide PowerPoint presentation to go with it, as well as 2 longer task booklets (Entry Level 3 & Level 1).

A 5 page task booklet, which can be used as an extension task or for substitute teaching for students studying IT and learning about Computer Operating Systems. Students are asked to name 5 different operating systems and provide evidence of User Interfaces. Perfect for SEN Entry Level 1 and above.

A Goonies film review 3 page worksheet for students studying Film or Media Studies. Students have to answer specific questions about the plot and give their overall opinion of the film. This resource could be used as an extension task, after the students have watched the movie, as a substitute teaching task or for Creative iMedia.

This resource can be used for students completing a Gaming or Media Studies course. This is a 3 page game review worksheet for the video game Minecraft, where students answer questions about the game modes, biomes, characters, graphics and sound etc. This can be used as an extension task after students have played the game or for substitute teaching.

I use this resource for students completing the NOCN (National Open College Network) L1 Safe Independent Travel course. Tutors can use the 3 evidence assessment sheets to state what evidence is provided in the students portfolios, when students have completed paperwork for their NOCN Safe Independent Travel Level 1 course. Course code: R/505/4082 This NOCN course is used in the Travel Training sessions for SEN students.

5 pages of evidence assessment sheets for the Entry Level 3 EDSQ course, perfect for organising and building portfolio’s of work. ICT tutors can use the evidence assessment sheets to state what evidence is provided in the students portfolios, when students have demonstrated practical IT skills or completed paperwork for their EDSQ course. It covers all of the EDSQ, Pearson course criteria, but can be easily adapted to suit other course EDSQ curriculums, such as OCN or NOCN.

A game genre mind map to use in Gaming or Media Studies. Students have to name as many game genres as they can, their favourite game genre and to name a game from that genre. I use this resource as a lesson starter when teaching video game genre.
