I've made a PPT of the key 20 number facts (number sentences) that bridge 10. I use this to model on ten frames how to recombine to make 10.
I've added animations to show the transition and movement of the coins.
e.g. 8 + 7
10 + 5
= 15
Hopefully you find it useful!
I’ve uploaded my week 1 - 3 planning for Y3 Block 1 Place Value (that matches the updated White Rose Maths planning).
Hopefully it will save somebody else some time! The starter activities referred to I’ve uploaded separately (they’re on a power point). https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/mental-starters-11805783 (free)
The other activities should be pretty self explanatory in reference to the White Rose planning (I haven’t included the resources and some were hand made and not digital, but see the examples given in the White Rose).
You’ll find BLOCK 3 here -

Hi there,
In case anyone needed a rough long term plan for numeracy coverage (revisits, main teaches and vocab) for Year 1 I thought I'd upload this in case it's useful.
Includes Autumn 1 + Autumn 2 + Spring 1 PPT (daily slides/activities)
yearly coverage overview document (work in progress doc)
*updated 27th Oct to include Autumn 2 and Spring 1 as well. Will continue to add as the year goes on.
I’ve uploaded 3 weeks multiplication and division Spring block.
Hopefully it will save somebody else some time! The starter activities referred to I’ve uploaded separately (they’re on a power point).
I’ve also uploaded the resources (by request only, not made for TES, this is what I have digitally) & WALTs ready to be printed separately to match this planning. updated 4/4/18 to add missing WALTs for one of the days
I’ve uploaded my White Rose ‘Fractions’ Summer Block 1 planning, including resources I’ve used from the White Rose (turned into an easily printable format) and any additional ones I’ve made to myself to supplement. This is week 4 of 5.

This is my own personal planning which I’ll be using in my class in a couple of weeks. Hope you find it useful, it’s not made specifically for TES so there will most likely we some spelling errors etc
Using within my class to build fluency within 20.
Includes all key facts within 20; 240 of them.
The PPT animations slowly reveal the answers to self assess
gives an example of a bar model/associated facts
Low threshold, high ceiling task that allows your less able children to recap addition and subtraction, but for your more able to apply what they know in a range of others ways.
5 ‘deepen your thinking’ tasks added at the bottom of each slide/same on each.
Each of the below WILFs have a slide with a visually modelled example (x2)
WALT: column addition
WILF 1: to use column addition without crossing the 10s
WILF 2: to add a single digit and cross the 10s
WILF 3: to add a single digit and cross the 10s and 100s
WILF 4: to add a two digit number
WALT: column subtraction
WILF 1: to use column subtraction without crossing the 10s
WILF 2: to subtract a single digit and cross the 10s
WILF 3: to subtract a single digit and cross the 10s/100s
WILF 4: to subtract a two digit number
WALT: column multiplication (as repeated addition)
WILF 1: to be able to set out a multiplication as a repeated column addition
WILF 2: to be able to set it out both ways and discuss which is easiest
WILF 3: to use repeated column addition without crossing the 10s
WILF 4: to use repeated column addition crossing the 10s
WALT: column multiplication
WILF 1: to correctly set it out
WILF 2: to multiply by a single digit without crossing the 10s
WILF 3: to multiply by a single digit crossing the 10s
WILF 4: to multiply by a two digit number without crossing the 10s
WILF 5: to multiply by a two digit number crossing the 10s
WALT: bus stop method (division)
WILF 1: to correctly set it out
WILF 2: to divide by a single digit without crossing the 10s
WILF 3: to divide by a single digit crossing over once
WILF 4: and carrying across multiple times
WILF 5: to divide by a single digit and find a remainder
All 4 weeks combined + resources used (white rose and any other) and PPT of WR resources (so all can see on the board)
My own personal planning so there will be spelling errors etc, I’ll be using it myself in the coming weeks.
I’ve uploaded my White Rose ‘Multiplication and Division’ Autumn Block 4 planning. Including resources I’ve used from the White Rose (turned into an easily printable format and visual PPT to share). This is week 2 of 3.

The warm ups 1-3 that are included in this planning don’t relate at all to the White Rose topic and recapsg and revisits prior learning. And since it’s my personal planning it’s mentioned on here.
Warm up 1 - Write today’s date with Roman numerals (no resource)
Warm up 2 - Fluency PPT adding within 20 ( https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/240-addition-and-subtraction-facts-within-20-ppt-resource-self-assessed-11899007)
Warm up 3 - ‘closing the gap’ PPT where over the year they revisit key ideas from the Y1-Y3 curriculum (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/year-4-autumn-1-maths-closing-the-gap-ppt-revisiting-y1-y2-y3-objectives-daily-11942385)

I’ve not made the summer warm up PPTs yet as I’ve planned far in advance. They’re not linked to the topic, just something additional I do at the beginning of each lesson. If you’ve been using them as well, I will reupload when they have been created - closer to when I actually teach this myself in class
I’ve uploaded my White Rose ‘Money’ Spring Block 2 planning, including resources.
Hopefully it will save somebody else some time! The starter activities referred to I’ve uploaded separately (they’re on a power point).

I’ve also included a variety of mini maths sessions (57 separate activities) based on the NFR Y3 Autumn assessment papers which I use throughout as additional warm ups and plenaries.
I use this as warm ups or when I have a free 5 minutes. I get the children to self-mark, create their own and then set their friends challenges.
Great for recapping key skills regularly without additional work load.

We stick these into their homework books and they work through the wilfs.
The focus of the WILFs is showing how you know in a variety of ways, rather than getting the answer right.
Each addition or subtraction fact will match one of 3 options. Can you use your fingers, a number-line or a 100 square to work out the answer, then match a peg to the correct answer?\n\ngreen - to 10 (fingers)\nblue - to 20 (number line)\nred - to 100 ((100 square) - adding/subtracting 1 digit numbers\nyellow - to 100 (100 square) - adding subtracting 2 digit numbers
I use these for 5 minutes at the start of a maths lesson and children then mark it themselves in less than a 1 minute.
I do put deliberate mistakes on most slides to prompt my class to challenge me if they get a different answer and to promote growth mindset - I’m always learning as well as them. Either I’ve made a mistake and I learn, or they’ve made the mistake and they learn.
