You will need to log onto Pearson and download the Jan 2020 release material to support this download. The first powerpoint supports students in how to do their research and set up their notes. I have put a small time frame in there for my classes. This is a practice run through so students have less time than the actual controlled assessment. There is then a feedback powerpoint which uses the examiners report to provide sample answers that show 2 nearly perfect answers and 2 answers that I then intend on live writing/modelling based on their responses from their practice (hoping their responses are good enough to use as future model answers!) I am planning to issue this over the Easter Holidays. Students use Cornel note taking strategies to show their understanding of each of the Key texts. There are several exam questions relating to each of the key texts to develop students confidence in using these texts.

This is a double lesson if the whole of the documentary is watched. The lesson combines looking at the changing relationship between parents and their children, and the relationships with the wider family. 4 mark exam question to finish.
