This is a unit of work my students really loved. Can be used for ages 13+. This can last 2-3 lessons. This is teaching students how to write a tension -filled piece of work. The lesson looks at examples from the recent James Bond film, ‘No Time to Die’, ‘No Country for Old Men’ and 'Archer. Please view the clips before the lesson to make sure you deem them appropriate. The language question on the paper 1 reading exam. The question is ‘How does the writer make us feel uneasy?’ Aimed at getting a grade 5-6. Based on the third chapter of the novel JAWS by Peter Benchley (the ‘Get Out the Water’ scene in the film).
