OCR Alevel Tudors Rebellion and Disorder/ Tudor Rebellions
This is a lesson on Perkin Warbeck’s rebellion
I teach this AFTER the Cornish rebellion even though it technically begins before- this is to group the economic rebs and have them bookended by Dynastic threats and also to show the response to the rebellion when Warbeck lands in Cornwall in Sept and ensure students do not muddle that with the Cornish rebellion of 1497 (early summer)
Can be used for any Tudor Rebellions/ Tudors ALevel

Assembly created for schools for remembrance day 2023
This assembly pays tribute to relatively unknown British hero Walter Tull whose family still have not received the medal he was recommended for.
The assembly touches on also Arthur Conway whose family left a rare anti-war message on his grave in Tyne Cot cemetery in Belgium.
Also briefly touches on (without detail) the ongoing conflicts which rage throughout the world today.
Includes a full set of notes to accompany the slides- I always have someone from the student body play the Last Post at the end so there is reference to it however you can remove this.

OCR Alevel Tudor Rebellions course
My third double lesson on the Pilgrimage of Grace for the Tudor Rebellions.
As this is a depth study, students need to go into these themes in far greater depth.
Attached are the resources for teaching this threat.

Long Term Causes of World War I
This is a two-three lesson plan looking at the MAIN causes of WWI starting with tensions between the Great Powers and looking at key themes such as Weltpolitik and Imperialism, Alliances and Nationalism and Militarism and Arms/ Naval races. Also includes the Moroccan and Bosnian crises (in brief!)

Alevel lessons on Tudor Rebellions
This is work for 2 2 hour lessons plus homework on the Nature and Threat of the Western rebellion. The Western Rebellion is one of the key rebellions which students need to study in depth for OCR ALevel.
This lesson has a retrieval starter based on previous lesson. Colour code, mapping exercise to learn the narrative of the rebellion. Includes a detailed timeline/ chronology of the Western rebellion which will save you hours as I had to put it together from many different sources.
Also includes a huge A3 threat evaluation sheet broken down into key criteria used to evaluate threat. This is a depth study so resources are very detailed.
Analysis of threat based on all work done so far and a conclusion as well as a key debate on how violent the western rebels were.
