Assembly created for schools for remembrance day 2023 This assembly pays tribute to relatively unknown British hero Walter Tull whose family still have not received the medal he was recommended for. The assembly touches on also Arthur Conway whose family left a rare anti-war message on his grave in Tyne Cot cemetery in Belgium. Also briefly touches on (without detail) the ongoing conflicts which rage throughout the world today. Includes a full set of notes to accompany the slides- I always have someone from the student body play the Last Post at the end so there is reference to it however you can remove this. Fully editable.

OCR Alevel Tudor Rebellions course My third double lesson on the Pilgrimage of Grace for the Tudor Rebellions. As this is a depth study, students need to go into these themes in far greater depth. Long Term Causes of World War I This is a two-three lesson plan looking at the MAIN causes of WWI starting with tensions between the Great Powers and looking at key themes such as Weltpolitik and Imperialism, Alliances and Nationalism and Militarism and Arms/ Naval races. Also includes the Moroccan and Bosnian crises (in brief!) Lesson 3 in Key Topic 1 -Weimar Germany Rosa Luxemburg and the Spartacist Revolt includes all needed information- no textbook needed- reference to textbook is in case you do have it. Alevel lessons on Tudor Rebellions This is work for 2 2 hour lessons plus homework on the Nature and Threat of the Western rebellion. The Western Rebellion is one of the key rebellions which students need to study in depth for OCR ALevel. This lesson has a retrieval starter based on previous lesson. Colour code, mapping exercise to learn the narrative of the rebellion. Includes a detailed timeline/ chronology of the Western rebellion which will save you hours as I had to put it together from many different sources. Also includes a huge A3 threat evaluation sheet broken down into key criteria used to evaluate threat. This is a depth study so resources are very detailed. Analysis of threat based on all work done so far and a conclusion as well as a key debate on how violent the western rebels were.

Detailed lesson (2 hours plus hwk) on the Nature of the Pilgrimage of Grace Includes Historiography to deconstruct the question “Whose rebellion was the Pilgrimage of Grace” which is one of the key debates used for the exam. Includes key debate from the textbook and historians views evaluation.
