Includes key words, a gapfill activity, a translation, discussions, drawings. It will help develop thought process around the major themes of the novel, using the interesting conflicting relationship of the neighbour and his poor dog. My students enjoyed it as it is a part of the book they could all relate to as they all felt entrigued.

Print both sheets and ask students to match the French and English Then Print both sheets on double sides and ask students to work with a partner. One students say the english, the others tries to say it in French and the other checks it is correct. Do this in every beginning of the lessons.
