This is a 2 hours sequence about the scene in which the Pere Jean gives a sermon about charity and an angry parent leave. This is an important scene about how the indifference of many led to the consequence we know. This 2 hours lesson helps students develop their analytical skills using the PETAL ( point, evidence, technique, analysis and Link) system for better essays. It also includes quotes and a translation. There is a Youtube link to the scene.
I hope you find it useful!

Students write the different players' names under the drawings, they cut them out and stick them on the sheet at the correct places.
They can stick them so that the players are 'standing up'.
Get the students to colour them according to their favourite football team.
