A series of well differentiated worksheets ..... 1) to practise the Imperfect Tense and apply the correct verb endings. 2) to contrast the Imperfect and Present Tenses in the context of the Healthy and Unhealthy Living topic. 3) to practise and use negatives - ne ... pas, ne ... jamais, ne ... plus and ne ... que There are opportunities to translate to and from French with 2 answer sheets so that students can correct their own work. There is also a listening exercise to consolidate understanding of negatives. A verb chart will help your students understand how the Imperfect Tense is formed in relation to the Present Tense.

This is the second resource on the GCSE topic of social media which deals mainly with the advantages and disadvantages of mobile technology. 1ppt. and 19 pages of exercises. Your students will learn to use the irregular verbs, aller, faire, vouloir, pouvoir and devoir in the Present Tense through a range of carefully designed tasks. Their vocabulary range will improve as they find synonyms, identify the meaning of specific French vocabulary in reading tasks and translate. I have also included tasks which require matching questions and answers and there are speaking tasks, to do in pairs, which will help improve performance both in role play and general conversation. There is a writing task which requires students to write between 90 and 150 words by answering 9 key questions. In this way, your students can begin to build up a portfolio in preparation for the written exam. There is a teacher led listening task with an accompanying worksheet and ppt. Great practice to develop listening skills and it should help your students improve pronunciation.
