1 ppt. to help you introduce the key adjectives, qualifiers and opinions to your students and 1 'shared' ppt. for your students to consolidate their learning at their own pace. The worksheets will provide lots of practice using opinions, adjectives and qualifiers with 'c'était' and 'ce n'était pas'. There are vocabulary learning strategies, gap fill exercises, a speaking task sheet and translation both ways. There is a deliberate repetition of the key vocabulary and verbs and the exercises are differentiated, gradually increasing in difficulty. There is a vocabulary grid to support your students' work. The Perfect Tense of regular 'avoir' verbs in French (context: Module 2;Studio book 2)

These worksheets aim to help students improve their understanding and application of the Perfect Tense in French. The tasks deal with subject pronouns, the verb 'avoir', the formation of a regular 'ER', 'RE' and 'IR' past participle and the negative Perfect Tense. To demonstrate the Perfect Tense I have used the verbs and vocabulary from Module 2; Studio book 2. These worksheets have been meticulously designed and are at least as nicely presented as any resource you might buy from a respectable publisher. Please don't be put off by the preview image which at times looks distorted with text not fitting into boxes or lines missing from tables (due, I think, to the inclusion of tables/grids/text boxes); the actual resource looks professional in appearance when downloaded. The Perfect Tense of regular 'avoir' verbs in French. Worksheets and a ppt.

The ppt. (which contains some fun elements) gives a very clear, straight-forward explanation of how to form the Perfect Tense of regular ER, RE and IR verbs in French. It starts from basics and gradually builds up the blocks which are used to form this tense. Many of the exercises on the ppt. complement those which appear on the 4 accompanying worksheets. . The 4 worksheets aim to help students improve their understanding and application of the Perfect Tense in French. The ppt. and worksheets can also be bought separately. Please don't be put off by the preview image which looks as though lines are missing from tables. This is not the case with the actual resource which looks professional in appearance when downloaded. Practise time expressions and verbs relating to the internet with this series of differentiated worksheets. The exercises gradually develop from simple vocabulary matching to sentence building. There is a translation task from the TL where students are expected to guess the meaning of some words. A puzzle sheet (with answers) gives practice in understanding sentence structure while motivating students to do the task. There is also a grammar sheet on ER verbs. I have included a verb vocabulary grid to support learning. Also available: Planète Facebook (Part 1) - Studio book 3; Module 1 or both resources can be purchased together. The Imperfect Tense of AR, ER and IR Verbs (contrasted with Present and Preterite)

(0)
This is a great resource for your more able students. It clearly demonstrates how to form the Imperfect Tense of regular (and the 3 irregular) verbs in Spanish and it makes the meaning clear, too. In addition, the Present and Preterite Tenses are revisited and there are exercises which involve using these 2 tenses alongside the Imperfect Tense: 'I was doing ..... when .....' and 'I used to ..... but now I .....' There is an exercise on 'I only do, read, study' etc. using 'sólo' as well as an exercise on 'I no longer go, watch, read' etc. using 'ya no'. To differentiate effectively, I introduce the vocabulary which will be needed in the more difficult translation exercises prior to the task. There is 1 answer sheet so that students can mark their own work. The worksheets come in a 'tú' and an 'vd.' version. Any feedback would be appreciated.
