Complain at once

Anyone who has a complaint should tell the inspector at once. If the complainant does not feel confident to do this then the complaint should be addressed to the contractor.
The inspector would not be able to mark down the school as a means of “getting back” at a com plainat. Safeguards are in place to ensure the inspection’s integrity.
If the complainant is not satisfied with the response from the inspector or contractor they should then contact OFSTED.
For further advice see www.ofsted.gov.uk or phone 0207421 6800.

I thought it better to report the problem later than not at all.
