School documents with pupils’ names on them have been found lying in a shop, a council admitted.
The individual education plans for pupils at Fullhurst Community College in Leicester have now been handed back to Leicester City Council.
A shopkeeper in the city who found the documents told the Leicester Mercury: “I looked at some and realised they were sensitive. They talk about children’s learning and behavioural difficulties.” A council spokesman said the papers did not feature addresses or phone numbers.
