In Denmark, schools have been back for four weeks now, adjusting to guidelines set out by the Danish health authorities around social distancing in order to help limit the potential spread of the coronavirus.

At the International Primary School at Rygaards International School in Copenhagen, this return to school has meant children from Reception classes and Year 1 right up to Year 6 have been back, learning to attend school with new social distancing measures in place.

We spoke with the head of the International Primary School, Shirley Jacobsen, to find out about how they went about reopening, the challenges they had to overcome and how things have been since then.
