A headteacher has been killed in a car crash. Daniel Slinn, head of Calshot Primary School in Great Barr, Birmingham, was one of three people to die in the M5 pile-up near Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire on Friday. The 44-year-old was described by a colleague as “a terrific guy” who loved his job and was popular with pupils.
