This resource is a presentation which aims to teach about the different aims of punishment in contemporary society and Islam. Christianity is not explicitly included in this resource as the society element is based on UK and US society, which is Christian. Therefore, the Christian approaches are reflected in the society element. Islam and Shari'ah Law is somewhat different which is why it is explained separately.
