you only need marbles, metre sticks and sand, goggles
I have created the worksheet that allows students to collect datan analyse and apply to exam questions.
1 worksheet 1 lesson.
The powerpoint presentation is included.
Students really enjoy the context and ability to do an investigation and link it to real life.
Enjoy
GCSE 9-1 worksheet to go through the model of the atom.
This is applicable for chemistry and physics.
Student can be given information and then asked to complete the worksheet. it comes with exam questions and markscheme.
SEN/LOWER- Card sort activity - it can also be differentiated further
This is a Projectile motion revision lesson.
I used this for KS5 PHYSICS observation lesson.
.I got outstanding for this lesson.
The starter is active followed by a short diagnostic quiz. The quiz shows what level each student neede to work on : low, medium, higher.
The lesson allows student to dictate the pace, take control of their learning. there is instant feedback in each table with markscheme. Teacher is a facilitator and can move around to support different students.
The lesson has engagement , AFL and differentiation and task adjustment.
This lesson is active, circus style lesson.
I have included various themed projectile questions.
There is a active place mat starter ( not made by me).
I have differentiated for low, medium and higher students.
There is plenary containing exam questions.
GCSE 9-1 Energy resources : Hydropower / Hydroelectricity. This lesson concentrates on how electricity is generated in a hydropower station. This lesson can be used in Geography as well.
Starter - Show image of Dam, and Short film clip
Main : There is a Circus activity on hydropower with accompany worksheet.
Mini- plenary
Extended writing task follows - QWC 6 mark with peer marking
final plenary - Discussion and select the best energy resource.
The lesson has exam questions and markscheme.
GCSE 9-1 Physics, Chemistry and combined science.
