I am an experienced Physics teacher who enjoys creating resource that engage students to do their best in Physics. I also create chemistry and Biology resources. I like active lessons with differentiation so all my resources are differentiated. All my resources are non-specialist friendly.
I am an experienced Physics teacher who enjoys creating resource that engage students to do their best in Physics. I also create chemistry and Biology resources. I like active lessons with differentiation so all my resources are differentiated. All my resources are non-specialist friendly.
This lesson can be used for Physics triple, Combined science and kS3
I have always been given an outstanding when using this lesson.
There are now two powerpoints one is GCSE 9-1 Higher and the other is lower demand, which is also suitable for KS3.
This includes :
1. starter ( differentiated) There is easier and higher demand.
2. Energy market place activity -active learning
3. Mini plenary - traffic light
4. Exam questions - and worksheet designed for students to follow the powerpoint.

Student feedback from my classes :
’ can you make more of these as it helps me learn and revise a difficult concept. I can make notes on one side and then use it apply to easy, medium ,and higher exam questions’.
’ It is one page so I can organise it easily and it does not put me off’
‘In the lesson I know exactly what is being taught and what the expectations are , there is no time wasted in copying titles and Learning objectives.
’ it is one worksheet as opposed to so many teachers give, which can be boring’
’ I like that i can high-light it and make notes in organised way and then use it to answer exam questions - I feel like I have achieved something every lesson’
GCSE 9-1 Atomics structure - Physics and combined science
Niels Bohr’s model of the atom includes electrons in discrete energy levels.
This worksheets allows students to understand electron excitation and relaxation.

Equation of motion is part of Forces unit.
Students need to be able to use the acceleration formula and manitpulate it to find initial velocity, final velocity as well as time.
I have linked the lesson to Formula 1. Teachers can show short video as starter, lead a discussion in what makes the car super fast and how engineers are always trying to make the car fast.
Students can be encouraged into researching careers in F1.
I have attached markschemes so peer marking and feedback is instant.
Students really enjoyed this lesson and almost all of them made fast progress with this lesson.

GCSE 9-1 Combined and triple
This is a forces revision for students to do independently. I made it into a grid.
This is Easy to medium demand.
This works well for cover and revision lessons.
This worksheet will help students learn Newton’s first law and apply it to various examples.
I have included Newton’s law information sheet as support.
Student should fill this worksheets as you teach . I finally then set the 6 mark question in the title box. Students use their worksheet as template and write a quality piece, this can be peer marked using the marking grid.
Do have a look at the Newton’s law outstanding lesson on my page which includes all three laws, resources, videos and low, medium, higher worksheet, including stretch and challenge. This worksheet is just one resource from that lesson.
Enjoy.
