1 Lesson of Waves AQA Trilogy course. Differences between transverse and longitudinal waves. Blooms outcomes are used alongside success criteria. Jelly baby wave machine made using the video I got from youtube (link in presentation given).

Lesson one with a year 7 mixed ability group. Starter activity was looking at an image and asking what they could see, and then zooming in to see if they saw key parts of the picture. You can use the information on Word as a discovering the difference between the two microscopes (good for those following a spiral curriculum).

Two lessons. Use microscope during the lessons to look at cheek cells or onion cells. Includes learning objectives, differentiation opportunities and good for spiral curriculum leading to AQA spec.

KS3 lesson on Specialised cells. Specialised cells information NOT included. Contains learning outcomes and differentiation opportunities. KS3 but can be used for KS4 AQA spec.

Lesson on Cellular organisation. With additional information we used as cover/project work. Can be used for both KS3 and KS4. Learning outcomes and differentiation opportunities.

Lesson on unicellular organisms. Focuses on Bacteria and yeast. Lesson outcomes included with differentiation opportunities. Taught at KS3 but could be used for KS4.

3 Lesson opportunities with outcomes and information included. Information can be printed off and laminated to be used for multiple classes. Differentiation opportunities there and work/project could be used for cover lessons.

Homework/class project for students to aim high on outcomes. Basic information and keywords provided. Students given choice of task. Easy to mark and space for the student to reflect and feedback.

Biology Homework/Classwork project for Zoos and conservation. Outcomes provided with background information, keywords and questions to help. Easy to mark and space to reflect and feedback.
