A fully-resourced, detailed and differentiated lesson which serves as an introduction to religious attitudes towards animals. The lesson investigates the attitudes of all six main world religions and students will complete scripture analysis, clip tasks, extended literacy tasks and much more.

This detailed 23 page PSHE / RSE workbook has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020 Statutory Guidance and focuses on drugs, their effects, UK law, addiction and harm reduction. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. No internet access needed.

A Medical Ethics Unit lasting 12 hours (one lesson is a double) that was created for Year 9 RE, but could easily be used for a capable Year 8 or none-GCSE KS4 group.
Each lesson is very detailed, editable and differentiated three ways with colour-coded challenge tasks for every activity. The lessons are very easy to follow as all the instructions are on the PowerPoints and worksheets. Each of the individual lessons have had excellent reviews so far.

What are the religious and ethical views on abortion? A lesson exploring the pro-choice and pro-life debate and introducing the concept of sanctity and quality of life.
What are the religious and ethical views on euthanasia? A lesson examining the quality vs sanctity of life debate in detail while examining types of euthanasia and religious views on these.
Stem Cell Research - an investigation into embryology and the controversial issues surrounding the science. The lesson investigates how scripture can be applied to these issues and why there is so much debate.

Drugs and morality - a lesson exploring the moral and religious debate around drug use before examining religious quotes and practicing GCSE style exam questions.
Genetic Engineering - an overview lesson on test tube and designer babies as well as religious objections to the technology, with a focus on Christianity and Islam.

In this lesson, the students will discuss the different ways that our online activities can leave a trail of information behind. We will look at the reasons why companies like Google collect detailed information about our browsing habits. Drugs PSHE lesson - Noz, Hippie Crack, Laughing Gas - whatever you call it, students need to be well aware of the dangers. This new lesson focuses on the health risks and the law surrounding the abuse of nitrous oxide and contains invaluable information for any secondary group. This is all new content (2024) and all editable. The lesson will last you an hour and is suitable for KS3 or KS4.

Students will uncover the dark truth behind the gang lifestyle, looking at some of Britain’s most notorious gangs, assessing the recent successes of the police in smashing the system and making arrests. The lesson covers how gangs lure young people in, what it means to be a mule and the penalties gang members have faced for violence, drug dealing and weapon-trading.
Studewill explore how County Lines exploitation often affects males and females differently, how the vulnerable are turned into ‘cuckoos’, where to go for help if gangs touch our own lives in any way and much more.
The lesson includes case studies, clip tasks, creative tasks, analysis and literacy tasks and much more. Created for KS3 but could be used as a reminder for KS4. Includes lesson plan.

2 HOURS - UPDATED! - For the Gatsby Benchmark Careers Guidelines. 2 hour, fully resourced lesson on writing personal statements. The lesson is divided into two parts, one focuses on personal statements for job applications, the other on personal statements for university or colleges.
