Example playscript based on Chapter 18 of the children’s historical novel The Silver Sword by Ian Serraillier.
This exemplar playscript is perfect to use as a WAGOLL when studying Chapter 18 of The Silver Sword when Edek is in court for a crime committed by Jan.
The model playscript comes with a feature identification worksheet for children to complete, plus an answer sheet for easy marking.
After identifying the features, pupils can write their own playscript by either re-writing the model text, continuing the script provided or writing a different scene from another part of the novel.
