Tim joined the European Space Agency in 2008 which resulted in him travelling to the International Space Station in 2015. Tim was the first British astronaut to take part in a space walk and is a role model for lots of people in the UK to be astronauts and scientists. The invention of factories as well as mass producing different goods meant that society changed exponentially. The smaller settlements that had developed in the past were soon left to bigger cities and towns, meaning houses changed. Houses were made in main cities and towns with brick, since it was mass produced.
