This is a lesson I have created for module 1, unidad 1 - ¿Qué haces en verano?. We use Edexcel in my school but I am sure it can be useful for AQA or easily adapted. This lesson includes: A starter task that focuses on different countries in Spanish. Retrieval practice: activities and verbs in the yo form GRAMMAR: The present tense, regular and irregular verbs. A variety of activities (vocab, translation, reading, etc). Homework. All answers included and embedded in Power Point. The document is a Power Point file and completely editable. *Please note that file sounds must be purchased from the exam board and that I cannot provide them.

This is a lesson I have created for the textbook Viva 2, Module 1, Unit 2 (¿Qué hiciste?). In this lesson students learn about: Saying what you did on holiday The preterite of regular -AR verbs. There is no homework task as it is included in the homework booklet I have already created. I just want to say that I am not an expert, and I am trying to slowly introduce it into my lessons. I hope I am doing it well but any constructive feedback is welcome. Here are two documents, one with vocab and a worksheet about describing accomodation in Spanish. The first vocab page introduces vocab to say where you stayed (e.g.,me quedé en un hotel de cinco estrellas que estaba en la costa). The second page gives you useful vocab to describe accomodation (e.g.,El hotel era acogedor y grande. Tenía piscina climatizada pero no tenía gimnasio). The worksheet is made of two activities. A writing activity and a translation. Both can be completed by looking and the given vocab. It works really well when introducing the imperfect tense. I have uploaded the sheets in pdf and also word so they can be modified if wanted. Hope it helps!

This is a booklet of activities I have created for my Year 7/8 Spanish class. I have used it for cover as it is quite self explanatory and includes lots of activities and the vocab. This resource includes: -> 19 activities -> A variety of activities (word search, crossword, colouring, translation, vocab activities, …) -> The first page has the vocab with all the colours they’ll need to know in Spanish/English. -> I have uploaded the booklet in PDF (to use preferably) but also in Publisher so it can be modified (although some of the fonts I use might disappear). In this lesson I am focussing on the migration wave that took place in May 2021, where more than 6000 immigrants arrived in Spanish borders after the Moroccan government decided to relax their border control. We are going to look at the reasons why this wave happened as well as look into the event itself and what it involved for the Security forces in Spain. This is a booklet I have made for my students to prepare for the third task of the speaking exam. This first theme has 3 different subtopics (1. Who am I?, 2. Daily life, 3. Cultural life). For each of the different topics I have included 9 questions. I have also done two different booklets (booklet A and booklet B). The questions on each booklet are different, to give some variety to students questions. There are some common questions too. I have also included each booklet in flashcards so that students can transfer their answers into the flashcards and revise them easily. The booklet also includes and overview of all the topics and the AVOCADO idea for students to know what their answers should include: A - Adjectives V - Verbs and tenses O - Opinions C - Connectives A - Adverbs D - Detail O - Originality The booklet is also editable and each booklet is included in PPT as well as PDF.
