In this lesson I am focussing on the migration wave that took place in May 2021, where more than 6000 immigrants arrived in Spanish borders after the Moroccan government decided to relax their border control. We are going to look at the reasons why this wave happened as well as look into the event itself and what it involved for the Security forces in Spain. This lesson includes: 6 activities (reading, translation, homework tasks). All answers embedded in PPT. Homework tasks included. This is a booklet I have made for my students to prepare for the third task of the speaking exam. This first theme has 3 different subtopics (1. Who am I?, 2. Daily life, 3. Cultural life). For each of the different topics I have included 9 questions. I have also done two different booklets (booklet A and booklet B). The questions on each booklet are different, to give some variety to students questions. There are some common questions too. I have also included each booklet in flashcards so that students can transfer their answers into the flashcards and revise them easily. The booklet also includes and overview of all the topics and the AVOCADO idea for students to know what their answers should include: A - Adjectives V - Verbs and tenses O - Opinions C - Connectives A - Adverbs D - Detail O - Originality The booklet is also editable and each booklet is included in PPT as well as PDF.

This is a lesson I have created for module 5 (Ciudades) - Punto de partida 2. We use Edexcel in my school but I am sure it can be useful for AQA or easily adapted. This lesson includes: A starter task that focus on different shops. New vocab: introduction to lots of new vocab about shops and buying souvenirs. This is a booklet of questions I have created for my Year 10 Spanish in order to help them with their speaking assessment and practice. It is done according to the new specification for the new GCSEs. It includes plenty of questions on all the topics the students are going to study from September 2016: * Identity and culture * Local area, holiday and travel * School * Future aspirations, study and work * International and global dimension

I created these exercises in order to make my students practice for the real grammar fill exercise in the AQA exam, as they always struggle to answer this particular type of question. The document includes 3 exercises (with 12 or 15 sentences each) and includes the answers as well. In some cases more than one option is available (and although I have write them down in the mark scheme, there could probably be more possible answers).
