Aimed for Year 12s. Worksheet to analyse Chapter 7 of "No et moi". Focus on the following themes: - The birth and death of Thais - The consequences of the death of Thais on Lou's family (Lou/mother/father/family as a whole)

Photos taken at the exhibition "Wall of Dreams" in London (October 2017). Students choose some sentences and translate them. Then, they could create their own.

1. Students listen to the song and fill in the gaps with verbs in the imperfect + correction + whole class discussion of the topic of the song 2. They search for new vocabulary in the song and write it down in the box "nouveau vocabulaire" 3. Project in groups: students create their own lyrics using the imperfect tense about things they did/how things were when they were small (file: "mini compétition de chansons") I used it with a good Year 9 group.

Students are put in groups to do some research on one of these associations in France. They fill in the table. Then, they present it to the other students who have to put the information in the table. Topic: "Les marginalisés"

Based on textbook Encore Tricolore 3. Students create a brochure on a French site (monument, theme park...) in two parts: 1. Description of the place 2. Description of a visit in the past (they should invent if they have never been) using the perfect and imperfect tenses The document "projet... notation" is to give to them after they have handed it in with a mark and feedback.

Suited for Year 7 or 8 Spanish: Las emociones (with ESTAR) 1. Presentation of vocabulary (estoy contento/a...) 2. Match emotions to pictures (students come up to board and match the sentences to the images) 3. Form sentences with pictures and words

READING AND LISTENING COMPREHENSION Based on an article and a small radio extract from France Inter. Three exercises: -Synonyms for vocabulary -Comprehension questions -Listening comprehension questions You will find the link to the article and listening on the students’ worksheet; the second file is the correction. Suited for Year 12/Year 13 studying immigration and discriminations.

Created for a class of 16 pupils: give each student one card with either some text or an image. They have to stand up and find their pair by forming sentences with what they have on their card (either forming sentences from scratch for those with the images, or forming sentences with the words for those with the text). Good activity as a starter.

One slide with ideas of simple questions for them to create a dialogue. Good activity to start the year in order to get to know the students, whislt they practise their speaking skills.

One slide based on the game "qui est-ce?". Students form sentences and their partner (or the whole class) tries to guess who they are talking about.

Students have to make some research about a strike that recently happened in France. This slide will help them organise their research and create their oral presentation.

Includes: opportunities for speaking activity; listening comprehension (Journal Télévisé). The PPT ends with a project the pupils have to complete: research a French festival and present it.

Based on the documentary "Sur le chemin de l'école". Students are given one video about one of the children of the documentary. They create a presentation about this child and how he/she gets to school and compares this to their own routine.
