1. Students listen to the song and fill in the gaps with verbs in the imperfect + correction + whole class discussion of the topic of the song 2. They search for new vocabulary in the song and write it down in the box "nouveau vocabulaire" 3. Project in groups: students create their own lyrics using the imperfect tense about things they did/how things were when they were small (file: "mini compétition de chansons") I used it with a good Year 9 group.

Description of a visit in the past (they should invent if they have never been) using the perfect and imperfect tenses The document "projet... notation" is to give to them after they have handed it in with a mark and feedback.

One slide to use as a prompt to create a speaking activity. Idea: in pairs, students ask each other the questions which are on the slide and use the images to make up answers. The image at the top is for what is good, the image in the middle what is bad and the image at the bottom (or on the side) is what is possible to do in the city.
