Film Media Studies Marketing Posters
This resource can be used for students studying Film or Media Studies.
This is a 2 page resource that encourages students to think about the advantages and disadvantages of film poster advertisement placement (on bus stops, in magazines etc.)
There is a table for students to complete.
This resource can be used as an extension task to stretch and challenge students when studying film marketing.
Film Media Studies Movie Trailer Conventions
This resource can be used for students studying Film or Media Studies.
This 5 page resource explains the purpose of film trailers, their conventions and structure.
And there are 2 pages of targeted questions for students to answer, after they have watched a film/movie trailer.
Game Gaming Studies PEGI Age Ratings
This is a PowerPoint that I print out and use as a work booklet for students studying Gaming or Media Studies.
This resource is an 11 page work booklet that explores the purpose of PEGI age ratings on video games, as well as the content descriptors.
Travel Training SEN Travel Strategies Worksheet
This is a resource that I use with SEN students that require Travel Training sessions.
I usually use this after the Initial Assessment, so the students can share any concerns they have around travelling on public transport.
They also have to think of the benefits to using public transport (independence etc.) and what travel strategies they can use to help them (fidget toys, music on headphones etc.)
EDSQ Essential Digital Skills Qualification Portfolio Evidence Sheets Entry 3
5 pages of evidence assessment sheets for the Entry Level 3 EDSQ course, perfect for organising and building portfolio’s of work.
ICT tutors can use the evidence assessment sheets to state what evidence is provided in the students portfolios, when students have demonstrated practical IT skills or completed paperwork for their EDSQ course.

It also encourages budgeting skills.

If students have set up their own personal independent living skills goal, tutors or LSA’s can provide a witness statement towards this goal.
