This is a resource I use with students that require Travel Training sessions. This is a fun activity to do with students as a break from regular Travel Training sessions. Students can complete a photography scavenger hunt, where they have to practice their road safety skills whilst walking around their local area, taking photographs of a variety of things, such as a round-a-bout or zebra crossing. Feel free to delete any options that are not relevant to your local area, or add others in.

This is a resource I use for students that require Travel Training sessions. In order to develop transferable skills, students are required to plan journeys on public transport. This resource is a scenario where students can plan a trip to their local Starbucks cafe. You just need to add the appropriate info (street names etc.) for your local area! It gives advice to students of things they need to consider when planning their journey. It also encourages budgeting skills.

I use this resource for CEIAG (Careers Education Information Advice & Guidance) sessions for Media Studies sessions. (It could be adapted to suit your subject area). It recaps the 5 different media sectors and the students can then choose a media sector to research a career they may be interested in, to discover what skills, qualities and qualifications are needed. Suitable for Entry Level 3+ students. I use this PowerPoint with the accompanying worksheet. The slides also demonstrates how what the students have been doing/learning in sessions is relevant to a potential career in media.
