These are two lessons that follow each other in sequence for the AQA Language exam. Each refers to the mark scheme and has separate techniques that can be used to help to create descriptive writing. They also have opportunities for PEA reading answers and self evaluation.

AQA New Spec Comparing Poetry Scheme lesson PP This is one fuly self contained lesson (with resources enclosed) of a scheme of work of 15 lessons that compare the poems Presents From My Aunts with Hurricane Hits England. It's for teaching on the new English specification question on comparing poems from other cultures.

Apprentice Scheme - Analytical Writing - lesson 4 This is one of a series of 6 lessons that are modelled on the Junior Apprentice. Pupils are encouraged to invent their own Ice Cream Product and launch it . They write a pitch for their product which can be assessed - either against FS level 2 criteria in English or NC APP levels. There are 6 lessons altogether - all uploaded separately and then the resources are uploaded as a separate upload together.
