Puils will work entirely in their books during the teaching of the unit, to then plan their essay on the planning sheet. This lesson is about the courtly love tradition at the time of Romeo and Juliet. I usually put my resources at the end of the PP, so you are likely to find them after the last slide.

At the end of the unit, there is a reading and writing assessment that involves analysis and creativity too. This lesson is a good fun lesson for them, after I've driven them really hard and I get them to make a moviemaker film of the poem, which we upload to Youtube on the school&'s youtube channel.

Target Setting Lessons to Boost Pupils from 3 to 4: These lessons are part of a project that is challenged with boosting pupils from level 3c to 4c. Each week starts with a new focus on literacy, numeracy, kagan techniques and a personal target. Pupils need a target book to work with and this lesson is delivered at the begining of every week.
