This is followed by a table of practical enquiries that will secure full coverage of the National Curriculum requirements with the following headings: Big Question & Learning Objective Type of enquiry: Observing over time, Fair Test, Comparative Test, Grouping & Classifying, Research and Pattern Seeking Skills Focus: to help secure progression in working scientifically for all learners Notes Resources This is followed by an additional list of enquiries that have been proposed by children in my classes over the years, illustrating the importance of child led enquiry.
