Students can easily see the whole topic on one sheet and use this to begin their revision and use the diagram as a checklist. Student feedback has suggested that more able students liked how the diagram acted as an effective starting point for revision whereas weaker students liked how the diagram made revision for the topic seem more manageable.

In this lesson, students will be able to analyse the various propaganda techniques which were used in World War One propaganda posters which aimed to enlist more men into the armed forces. Students will be given a selection of posters to analyse and then have an opportunity to design and explain their own, original, propaganda poster.
