Mis planes para el futuro. This is a Spanish translation resource pack on the topic of my future plans with answers and will help pupils prepare for the translation part of the exam. There are 40 sentences in total, 20 different sentences to translate into each language, which recycle key work and studies vocabulary, complex and idiomatic structures and specific grammar points. The sentences include: past, present & future tenses lo mejor acabo de + infinitive al + infinitive cuando sea mayor/ cuando termine mis estudios imperfect tense Conditional sentences (si tuviera mi elección) Verbs which are followed by an infinitive (suelo, prefiero, evito etc.) ‘gustar’ verbs with third person perfect tense (siempre he soñado con…)

There are four activities: key vocabulary, translation into English, key verbs and deciding which preposition follows them and translation into French. The key focus is on translation exam skills, both ways. The translations into French use all the vocabulary and verbs also on the sheet.

Printed back to back, they make an excellent set of revision cards for pupils. A GCSE style writing question on chores with a model answer and exercises to scaffold the pupil’s own response. The worksheet includes: a model answer with gap-fill tasks, a ‘structure search’ with pupils identifying key modal verbs, opinion phrases and grade 8/9 structures, revision of key household chore verbs and some translation into Spanish.
