These play dough mats will give your children hours of fun. Use play doh to make a certain number of objects or to make numbers. Count the pictures and make the number. Make the right number of objects with your play-doh to match the numeral. Includes 45 pages that can be printed and laminated so they can be used over and over again. Could be used as a simple maths centre for kindergarten children. Product includes: - 16 pages of make the right number of objects to go with the numeral. - 16 pages of make the numeral to match the number of pictures. - 4 pages of make one more then make the numeral - 4 pages of adding together two sets of pictures and then making the total. - 5 pages of numerals to have a go at making with play dough.

This resource is a pack of worksheets which helps children to add 1 and 2 digit numbers using a number line. It has an information sheet at the start of each section to help children understand what they are doing. It also has a pack ot task cards at the end which can be used in a variety of ways. A few cards could be used at the beginning or end of the lesson as a starter or plenary. The whole pack of cards could be used as an activity within the lesson. A few cards could be used as mini-plenaries within the lesson or to check understanding. A few task cards could be sent home with children as homework. These printables will help your children to reinforce their learning when it comes to directions. There are printables that help children to think of the directions up, down, left and right. Have your child find their way from the ship to the lighthouse around the maze and then write down the directions they took to get there. You can also use the cardinal directions of North, South, East and West. Then your child can follow the directions given by the arrows to navigate around a grid and land on different coloured squares. Your child will navigate around a nautical themed map to end up at different points then write their own directions using the four main compass point directions. Finally, help your child understand co-ordinates by having them follow the co-ordinates to draw a line to discover the shape in each grid.

This product is a bingo game that aims to help children practice producing the sounds /b/ and /d/. There are 10 bingo cards using a total of 12 words which all contain either /b/ or /d/ in them. There is a set with pictures to use for pre-readers and there is a set with words only to use with fluent readers who need only practice the sound production. The bingo cards use only cvc words so can also be used to practice sounding out cvc words or as a word and picture match.

This is a game that can be played with children who are learning about grocery shopping and using money. The game has: - A game board which can be printed and laminated (it could be enlarged if necessary). - 8 bingo cards with food items on. - Grocery cards to go with the bingo cards. - Price cards. (These are duplicated so that you can either use cards for pence if you are playing in the UK or cents if you are playing in the US). You will need the following additional resources to play the game: - A counter for each player. - A die. - Some pretend money or real money (I prefer to use real money). Each player will need £5/$5 in change. The aim of the game is for players to go around the game board buying food items to fill their bingo card before making their way to the central finish spot.

This resource is about how we are all different and how we change. The resource starts off asking children to look at the similarities and differences between two cartoon characters and to look at themselves and a friend. Later, they survey the class to find out about differences such as looks, interests and tastes in food. Finally, the children start to look at how we change as we grow older and how they think they might be different when they get older. There is also some discussion of emotions and how we feel.

This pack includes a simple story called 'The boy who lost his bounce.' The boy goes around testing different items to see if they bounce and to see if he has found his bounce. Starting sounds clip cards will help your child while they are learning phonics. They can be used as a literacy activity for your class. Simple print, laminate and chop the cards. Provide children with pegs to clip on to the correct starting sound or alternatively provide children with a dry wipe marker to circle the correct starting sound. Using clip cards can help your child with their fine motor skills as well as reinforcing understanding of phonics sounds. (You will need pegs and a basket or other box to keep your cards in for this activity).

Use these long a task cards to support your children to learn 3 of the different spellings for the long a sound. There are 20 task cards. Each task card has a picture and children need to decide whether the picture uses the a_e, ai or ay spelling of the long a sound. They can then use the answer sheet provided to write down which spelling it is and then to spell out the word. A teacher's answer sheet is provided for easy marking or this can be given to children after they have completed the cards to mark their own work. These cards could also be used clip cards if you provided children with clothes pins to go with the cards. Simply print on card, chop and laminate so that these cards can be used time and time again. (I have also included the cards duplicated in black and white for those with only a black ink printing option).

This resource is based on balls and would appeal to children who enjoy ball games and like their hobbies to be brought into their class work. The activities will help young children who are learning to count in 2s or older children who need some extra help and support in this area. There is a simple outline of a suggested lesson plan including an idea for a starter and ending activity. - 3 worksheets where children count the pairs of balls and write the number in a box. Then colour the number in a number grid at the bottom and look to see if they can spot a pattern. - 3 worksheets where children count the number of bounces a ball makes after it is thrown and each bounce is worth two points. - 3 worksheets where balls in a sack are worth 2 points each and the child must find the correct numeral from underneath and match if to the sack.

These activities all have a theme of balls and would be useful for children who enjoy sports related activities and like their hobbies to be brought into their work in the classroom. These activities would be useful for young children or older children with special needs who are learning about the concepts of more and less. There is a simple outline of a possible lesson with a starter and ending activity suggested. Then 3 worksheets where children have to count the balls in two sacks and circle the sack with most balls in. 3 Worksheets where children have to count balls on two sides of a box and insert the correct inequality; or = to show which side has more balls. And 3 worksheets with two number either side of a box in which the children can insert the correct inequality to show which of the two numbers is larger.
