This resource is based on balls and would appeal to children who enjoy ball games and like their hobbies to be brought into their class work. The activities will help young children who are learning to count in 2s or older children who need some extra help and support in this area. There is a simple outline of a suggested lesson plan including an idea for a starter and ending activity. - 3 worksheets where children count the pairs of balls and write the number in a box. Then colour the number in a number grid at the bottom and look to see if they can spot a pattern. - 3 worksheets where children count the number of bounces a ball makes after it is thrown and each bounce is worth two points. - 3 worksheets where balls in a sack are worth 2 points each and the child must find the correct numeral from underneath and match if to the sack.

This pack covers the 42 phonic sounds in the English language. It has a page for each sound with the child identifying the pictures from a choice of 5 that either start, end or have in them the sound identified. There are pages of linking pictures to their starting sound. Pages for children to use a selection of letters to spell words. Roll and colour sight words. As well as word shape sheets. There are then 42 flashcards for the sounds which can be used for instruction before hand or for a display. There are over 80 pages of no prep activities.

This resource includes 17 slides which can either be printed out for children or projected onto a whiteboard to help explain fractions starting with halves, thirds and quarters and moving on to other fractions such as fifths and eights. The slides help to explain what a numerator and denominator are and how to work out fractions of numbers including fractions that do not have 1 as the numerator. The product goes on to have 20 printables for children to work on including: - 9 printables looking at fractions of shapes - 2 printables looking at writing the fraction to go with a shape - 9 printables looking at fractions of numbers There are then 35 task cards that can be printed onto card or laminated for use with pegs to clip on to the correct answer. This can then be used as a maths activity.

This is a simple pack for children to work on identifying rhyming words. It uses cvc words only.
