This resource includes 2 DESCRIPTIVE WRITING PIECES for the following titles: The Competition. A Difficult Decision. This resource is of GCSE standard and targeted at teachers who’d like to show their pupils a model answer to this section of the English Language Paper. In class, it can be effectively analysed and used to exhibit what is necessary in a grade 7-9 answer. Additionally, I have also added random creative writing paragraphs at the end of the document which can easily be implemented in students’ own stories. Teachers can encourage their pupils to choose one paragraph from these and base their entire own story from it so that they are practising and applying their own knowledge too.
