Lots of different types of businesses - perfect when answering an exam question and getting students to think how the answer would change if it was “this business compared to this business”. As a plenary activity, i would split the class into 4 (no moving around), but within that 4 they are in the pair they sit with. I will pose a question and we will then go round answering the question to each of their specific business type. Great for building context!

This is a great resource that I pick things from when I give my students an article or case study to really get them to think hard about what they have just read. I don’t follow it in a chronological order, these are just some of the tasks i will get the students to do following the article reading - I find by doing this they engage with the context in more detail. An escape room activity which gets student to identify the factors that affect a business’s decision when choosing its suppliers from the GCSE AQA specification. Students work individually or in pairs to identify the 5 factors and then when have identified the password come to the front of the room to unlock the PPT!

Based around the AQA GCSE Human Resources unit, students are given the task of creating a PowerPoint for specific tasks from the Human Resources unit for the England national team. Works great in a computer room.
