Lessons are a nice way to keep lessons Christmas themed while still teaching important skills and introducing GCSE texts to younger students. A lesson aimed at KS3 but can be adapted for older year groups. Uses the poem ‘The Night Before Christmas’ to help students plan and write their own poem. Differentiated using aim/challenge/super challenge.

A lesson introducing students to the character of Lady Macbeth and analysing her role within the play. Differentiated tasks/questions. Looks at the context of the play and the role of women in the 17th Century.
