I have been teaching Science for 12 years now and the last 11 have been in British International Schools in Mexico and Spain. I have been an IB Diploma examiner for the last 9 years.
My specialism is Biology but I currently teach Biology up to IGCSE and KS3 Science. Most of my resources are EAL/ESL focussed as the majority of my pupils do not have English as a mother tongue. I am selling resources for KS3 Science and IGCSE Biology. I continue to upload many resources for free.

This resource is a set of EAL worksheets for Biology for pupils aged 11-16. I have made these resources with a grammar focus, simplified language and emphasis of key words. The easiest sheets should allow pupils to match information about life processes only using underlined key words and pictures (very low English level). The activities are the following:
- Life processes cut and stick activity: Pupils have to match pictures, definitions and sentences for each life process. There are three different difficulty level.
- Life processes glossary: There are 4 different difficulty levels for this glossary with words and definitions from the topic.
- Life processes grammar match: There are 2 activities: 1) pupils have to identify if words from the topic are nouns, adjectives or verbs. 2) Pupils have to complete a table to show the different forms of verbs from the topic and write sentences. There are 3 different difficulty levels.
Please note: image credit is given on the final page, make sure you don't print it!!
Pupils have to summarise their learning in 140 characters like in twitter. They can include hashtag for key words. The resource can be printed and laminated so pupils can write with board pen. I put highlights of these on twitter #tweetplenary
