I made this lesson to help my pupils improve their graph drawing and interpretation skills. It also helps them to understand the difference between correlation and causation. The lesson is based around an individual investigation into the correlation between two factors with other group/pair activities to assimilate the vocabulary. This is a resource that I made for my GCSE pupils to allow me to grade their lab reports on a 1 to 9 scale. It shows features of all parts of a lab report from 1 to 9 (aim, prediction, variables, diagram, method, results table and analysis, conclusion, evaluation. This scale is not specific to any exam board; I made it roughly based on old coursework and APP criteria. This should make marking quicker as it literally includes one sentence per grade.
