The resources that I am sharing I have used successfully as a Primary Tutor to develop learning, understanding and confidence with individual students. They can also be used for group work. To keep my teaching skills sharp and to continue to develop my understanding of the curriculum, I also work as a Supply Teacher. Before becoming a Tutor I was a Senior Leader in a large Primary school holding the position of Assess Co-ordinator; I have also been a Year Leader and a SENCO.

It includes: an explanation and example for finding both percentage change and calculating the original value; questions for the student to complete and detailed answers.

I created this resource to support an individual student who is Year 7, It enabled the student to recall the difference between multiples and factors, how to find prime factors, as well as revising the terms LCM and HCF. The activity could be used for independent learning and group learning.

An activity to support students in learning and recalling their multiplication tables. I focused on multiplication sums that my students find trickier to recall e.g 6 x 7. A blank template is included so that you or the student can create their own colour by multiplication pattern.

This resource was created to support a student who is not a confident reader. It aimed to give them experience and confidence in answering word problems. One question looks specifically at converting pounds to pence and vice versa as the student asked for support with that. The questions cover addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The resource could be used for independent group or as an assessment of learning.

A fun activity to support students in knowing and quickly recalling the number bonds to 10 and 20. The activity also includes a template so you can use the triangles to make any number you wish. I have sued this activity with KS2 students who are not confident mathematicians.
