A power point presentation for use when teaching children the time. This one shows o’clock, but can be altered by turning the clock hands for any times you want. The question and answer is animated and these appear on a click of the key or use of a switch: ‘Can you tell me the time please?’ ‘It’s three o’clock’. The final page is a clock template for children to make their own. Print these on card and laminate. Add split pins for the hands. Children can then make the times indicated on the PPT.

Children work out the value of each letter of the alphabet and then using addition, work out a total for each of the names. There are 2 names for each letter of the alphabet shown on the first worksheet. There is a grid for children to write the numbers under the names and an answer sheet to check if they are correct. There are some lesson or activity ideas provided on the final page for literacy and maths activities. Numbers involved are up to 101 and then using a calculator over 100.

Here is a fun memory game for children to see if they can recognise numbers, remember their sequence and record what they recall. It starts off easy with numbers in order 0 to 9 and then goes to sequences of 3, 4 and 5 numbers. The last slide is all the numbers in a different order. There is a recording sheet added for children to use. Edit the PPT to suit your pupils. To play - click and each number will appear and then the whole sequence on that slide. You can go at whatever speed you want giving children chance to get the idea and then memorise the numbers. SEND pupils may benefit from having the colours to help them.
