(See pics) Medieval Medicine 1250-1500, Renaissance 1500-1700, Industrial 1700-1900 and Modern 1900-Present and WWI Western Front Ideas on causes Ideas on treatment Ideas on prevention Changes/ continuity and reasons for change. For the WWI section it is a little different with problems, solutions, reasons for change and key words/ battles. These grids are to help students consolidate their knowledge in sufficient depth for their thematic essays. Some students in my experience rely on the same superficial evidence/ factual knowledge to write these essays and even though they are not to write in depth; it is important that they show off their expertise. One grid is from rebel perspective looking at aims, leadership, support, actions threat and one is from government perspective looking at government support, response, impact an reasons for decreased threat etc. Example modelled on the Cornish rebellion.
