This termly planner is one of four that are available as a bundle: RME, Expressive Arts, HWB and ICT. The planner is easy to use and adaptable to suit any stage/curricular area. These particular plans have been designed for a Primary Five class during the first term and follow the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. The planner includes experiences and outcomes, skills, lesson ideas, key vocabulary, necessary resources, outline of the four capacities as well as a fully editable assessment section. This planning and assessment resource is designed to go alongside the resources for an Assembly on World Religions Festivals and Celebrations, as well as complementing the topic of Space and the Solar System. The resource also includes a short assessment to be completed following the end of the initial focus which is creation stories. This fun and easy to use board game is designed for pre school and early Primary level children. It aims to develop numeracy skills whilst allowing children the experience of playing a game independently. The game is designed on A3, so make sure your photocopier settings are correct. The game comes with instructions, playing pieces and differentiated task cards. A great resource for early finishers in your class or as an extra reinforcement activity.

The Famous Inventors Project is one that aims to bring Enterprise in Education together with other curricular areas, focusing on S.T.E.A.M. The purpose of the project is for children to learn about Famous Inventors, select a famous and life changing invention to redevelop and design for use in the future then develop and run a mock business to make and market their product. The project culminates in a day of presentations and pitches, allowing the children to demonstrate their learning over the course of the project. This project not only meets many of the experiences and outcomes of the CfE/NC, but can help children develop towards the four capacities, as well as giving a real and relevant context to their learning with a perceivable goal to work towards. This fully comprehensive project pack gives an easy to use, fun and accessible project for upper stage pupils to enjoy. This set of worksheets gives three tasks to consolidate and assess pupils' k & u in the area of 2D shape. This could be used as a homework task or as an assessment in class.

This challenge is aimed at upper level pupils. This gives pupils the opportunity to investigate, plan, develop and make a prototype of a new board game. They are then encouraged to Alpha test in their own class then roll out to the rest of the school to Beta test the product. Feedback forms for pupils to fill in are included and these are differentiated for upper and lower stages.
