This termly planner is one of four that are available as a bundle: RME, Expressive Arts, HWB and ICT. The planner is easy to use and adaptable to suit any stage/curricular area. These particular plans have been designed for a Primary Five class during the first term and follow the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. The planner includes experiences and outcomes, skills, lesson ideas, key vocabulary, necessary resources, outline of the four capacities as well as a fully editable assessment section. These booklets are designed for using for homework tasks related to reading and spelling. One booklet is for personal reading or school directed reading records and reviews. The other is for using the Look, Cover, Say, Write and Check method for setting spelling homework. These are both editable on word documents so that you can add your class stage to the cover or make any additions etc that you wish.

This planner is aimed at 2nd Level/KS2 pupils. It also links to the separate topic of the Water Cycle (also available via my shop) and ties the two in together. S.T.E.A.M - Famous Inventors Project

The Famous Inventors Project is one that aims to bring Enterprise in Education together with other curricular areas, focusing on S.T.E.A.M. The purpose of the project is for children to learn about Famous Inventors, select a famous and life changing invention to redevelop and design for use in the future then develop and run a mock business to make and market their product. The project culminates in a day of presentations and pitches, allowing the children to demonstrate their learning over the course of the project. This project not only meets many of the experiences and outcomes of the CfE/NC, but can help children develop towards the four capacities, as well as giving a real and relevant context to their learning with a perceivable goal to work towards. This fully comprehensive project pack gives an easy to use, fun and accessible project for upper stage pupils to enjoy. The document is in PDF format and contains 39 pages, including a full planner/assessment tool, teacher's notes and guidance, lesson outlines and directions as well as a set of appendices and handouts to use during the project.

This challenge is aimed at upper level pupils. This gives pupils the opportunity to investigate, plan, develop and make a prototype of a new board game. They are then encouraged to Alpha test in their own class then roll out to the rest of the school to Beta test the product. Feedback forms for pupils to fill in are included and these are differentiated for upper and lower stages. An introductory Powerpoint, planner, worksheets and summative reflection activity are all included in this bundle as well. This is a project that all pupils thoroughly enjoy whilst developing worthwhile skills and knowledge.

With loveable characters, a strong moralistic theme and a couple of dastardly villains, this piece is a great choice for a school or drama club production. It has been written with some musical numbers being suggested throughout, although these can be changed to suit your cast/facilities. There are 10 + speaking roles of varying sizes and a chorus can be added to suit. This makes it accessible to both small and large schools and groups. Have the pupils design a front cover, blurb and back cover, choose winning entries and have it bound to be out on display in class. All the documents are fully editable to change the year group.
