Here is a 45 page powerpoint presentation I have made which works as a complete teacher guide to unit 19 Internet of Things for the BTEC IT EXTENDED DIPLOMA LEVEL 3 The soloution is a Python application that runs on a Raspberry Pi, the program is linked to a motion sensor and a camera. When motion is detected the camera will take a photograph and email it to an attached Gmail account. The photo is also saved locally on the micro SD card. This works as an internet of things connected device.
