An oral practice to review the following tenses: Present, ir + a + infinitive, preterite, imperfect, future, present perfect, and present subjunctive. The activity has 42 personal questions, 7 questions per verb (hablar, empezar, jugar, buscar, tener, and pedir). Students can do the oral practice in pairs. As a follow up, students can complete the practice as a homework assignment or it can also be a part of teacher's sub plans.

A short exit slip to review the present and preterit tenses in the form of an original paragraph. Guidelines (on the assignment) are: Write a 7 sentence paragraph in the present tense with 7 different verbs (1 ar, 1 er, 1 ir, 1 car, 1 gar, 1 zar and the verb ir). Every sentence must start with a different subject or subject pronoun (yo, ella etc) and have at least six words; the paragraph can be about anything. Then underline or circle the present tense verbs and below the paragraph, change just the circled verbs to the preterite tense; it’s not necessary to write the entire sentence in the preterite. Any verb repeated will not receive any credit.

In this speaking activity, students will first fill out the endings for -ar, -er and -ir verbs. Then, they will complete the question answer chart. After that, they will interview a classmate with personal questions using the verbs hablar, aprender, and escribir. With the personal questions, they will ask the same question to their partner but they must conjugate the verb to match the new subject.
