Shelbu's Shop

Average Rating4.75
(based on 3 reviews)

I have taught science for the last 15 years in secondary schools. I currently work in a school that caters for students that have special educational needs and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. I like to add to my shop any new resources I have made that have been successful with my own students.

Students need to choose which of the five vertebrate groups (mammals, amphibians, birds, reptiles and fish) the animals belong to and colour by following the colour key. This is a simple activity to help students understand the classification system of Animalia. This activity is ideal for SEN students or lower ability groups or for younger learners. It could also be used as a resource for a cover lesson.

This is a fun activity designed to help students find their way around the periodic table and understand how to use mass numbers and atomic numbers. It will aid their understanding of atoms, protons, neutrons and electrons and also offer interesting facts about some of the elements. Students simply need to cut along the dotted lines, then match the question and answer cards to form a loop.
