Le Matin - daily routine

Cuánto cuesta? - LESSON NUMBERS / PRICES
Lesson to compliment unit on food and drink which revises high numbers and looks at prices. Lot of mini-whiteboard activities as well as a game of SPLAT - two pupils come to the board, a number appears and the first one to 'splat' the corresponding number in digits wins...works well boys v girls.
Prepositions worksheet
Worksheet activity to consolidate the use of prepositions, compliments Powerpoint lesson. Pupils match expressions in Spanish and English then complete the sentences with the missing preposition. Extension provided for the more able - write three of their own original sentences using prepositions.
Las Vacaciones - reading comprehension game
Pupils are put into groups and are given the first 4 questions. They must find the answers to all four questions before they get given the next set. Works well as a running dictation style activity where the texts are stuck on the wall outside the classroom and team members take it in turns to go out and find the answers. Feel free to amend, adapt or correct this free resource!

Le Passé Composé - JOUONS!
Nice starter or plenary activity. Pupils must identify all 6 parts of the verbs AVOIR and ETRE and put them in order. Then they must sort the infinitive verbs into groups; those that are used with AVOIR and those that are used with ETRE. Takes a bit of time to prepare but once you have the resources they can be used again and again.
L'argent de poche - WORKSHEET POCKET MONEY
Worksheet to compliment lesson of same title. Pupils complete the tbale with the French phrases using the first letter of each word as a clue: JFDB = je fais du babysitting etc. They then have two questions to answer - tu as combien d'argent de poche? Que fais tu pour gagner de l'argent.
